Questions & Answers
Below is a list of questions we anticipate to be most frequently asked. If you have a question that is not covered on this list please contact Cassanndra, Andrew, or Meghan
I can’t make it - How can I still watch the ceremony virtually?
A Zoom link and password will be provided en-masse via e-mail or text closer to the wedding date.

What should I wear?
Our dress code is garden semi-formal. This means that you should wear something polished yet comfortable for an outdoor setting. It can be floral, breathable, flowy, whatever you feel best in! Men can wear blazers or button downs or suits. As long as it is respectful to wear in the presence of God, you can't go too wrong! Pointed shoes might sink into the grass during the reception.

What time should I arrive at the Ceremony?
It would be best to arrive at Saint Patrick Catholic Church by 12:50PM at the latest to ensure you have time to be seated and get settled.

Can I bring a plus one?
If your invitation came in the mail with an additional name, "guest" or "____ family" on the front, please include their name(s) on your RSVP. If you'd like to replace the indicated plus one on your invitation with someone else, please contact Andrew, Cassanndra, or Meghan. If your RSVP does not indicate a plus one and you think it should have please let us know.

When is the RSVP Deadline?
We ask that you please submit your RSVPs no later than July 30th 2025.

Can I take photos with my phone?
Please turn off all phones during the ceremony and do not take any photos. During the reception, you may take photos to your heart’s content, but please be aware of our photographer and try to keep out of shots!
Will transport be provided between the Ceremony and Reception?
Yes. Please indicate in your RSVP that you will require transportation and we will be happy to get you there via carpool.

How do I get from the Ceremony to the Reception? Where do I park?
Meghan and Pat's house is a roughly 10 minute drive from the reception. Signs will indicate where to go; more information and maps can be found on the Travel page.
Parking at the reception is quite limited, so if possible we request that guests try to carpool from the ceremony. You may park extra cars at Saint Patrick's Catholic Church. For those driving, we will have parking on the left side of the property as you go up the drive way. Overflow parking is located across the street at Seidman Park.
Can I bring my children?
Yes! Our wedding is kid-friendly and we would be happy for them to attend. We have indicated the option for children on your RSVP. If your children have not been included in the RSVP and you’d like them to be, please contact Andrew, Cassanndra, or Meghan.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The Ceremony will be held indoors at Saint Patrick’s Church in Ada, Michigan. The reception will be held outdoors with access to tented cover at the Power Family Barn at 1755 Honey Creek in Ada, Michigan. Information for travel or parking can be found under the Travel tab above.

Will there be an open bar?
Yes, the bar will be open. We will have a bartender on site who will be happy to serve you beer, wine, or cider/coolers.

What if I have a food allergy / dietary restriction?
Please indicate in the provided section of the RSVP if you have an allergy or dietary restriction and we will try our best to accomodate you. We will be serving a buffet so we cannot guarantee that there will not be cross contamination.

I’ve never been to a Catholic Church before, what can I expect?
Our ceremony will not include Mass, so it will be fairly short. Before entering, please silence or turn off your phones. Near the entrance there will be pamphlets given out that will detail the parts of the ceremony. As you enter the church, you may dip your fingers in the holy water font and cross yourself. You may choose any pew to sit in on either side. If you feel comfortable, you can genuflect toward the tabernacle prior to entering and upon exiting the pew. Usually, once entering the pew, we put down the kneeler and pray for a bit. We would appreciate if you kept us in your prayers! Everyone is welcome and may participate to any degree that feels good for them.

What hotel should I stay at?
Please see the travel tab for information regarding lodgings. Please note we do not have a hotel block.
